Travel south on U.S. 27, then east on Ky. 90 to Cumberland Falls State Park, located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Known as the “Niagara of the South,” this picturesque falls is well worth the trip. There are also hiking trails, horseback riding and a variety of other activities available in the area. The Sheltowee Trace Outfitters located nearby offers whitewater rafting, canoeing and wall climbing.
